So, here we go!

Do you think that the Patriots, as they are playing now, can beat the Ravens??? I am, reluctantly, running the Ravens Defense on my Fantasy Football Team...but, I have scoured the waiver wires, and can't come up with much better of a matchup. I think running the Ravens Defense will hurt me, but I'm hoping that the rest of my Fantasy Football Team will carry me through to a win! :-)

Here's my big question to anyone who will ever read this Blog...

Do you think that we have seen the BEST of Tom Brady? I think we have. No, I'm not saying he's a washup, or anything like that. But...given his age, and the knee injury, I think that, at this time, we've seen the best that Brady has to offer. I could be wrong, and I certainly hope that I am. We shall see.

I think that soon, very soon, the Offense will come together(and alot of that points towards Brady), but I just think that very soon, he will start connecting with his receivers, on a regular basis.

OK...I've opened enough of a can of worms. It's time for bed. :-)

OK, I'm back!

After a lot of thoughtful consideration, I've decided that I want to start a new Blog. I stopped writing my old Blog months ago, but I miss it. So, here I am.

I will start by posting my Disclaimer: Whenever I relay stories of EMS calls, they will ALL be hypothetical stories, conjured up in my own mind, and no real names will be used (:->). I have no wish to potentially be accused of violating HIPAA regulations.

So...first...let's talk Football! More importantly, let's talk Patriots Football!

I was at Game 1, Monday Night Football, at Gillette, Patriots vs. Bills. My thoughts? I'm concerned about the Defense. Very concerned. As is everyone else. The Bills Offense isn't THAT good. And they owned the Pat's Defense for way too much of that game. Then Mayo went down, and is out for up to 6 weeks (if not more). The Defense has worried me for the last few years, but I'm worried again.

The Offense? Not worried at all. At all. Was the Offense looking like the Dominating Force of 2 years ago? No. Brady didn't look comfortable for most of the game. C'mon people...this was the first regular season game that he had started in a year. Thinking of it that way, I thought he played ok for 55 minutes. But, the last 5 minutes of the game? THAT was the OLD BRADY, back with a vengeance! I'll be honest...more than anything else that can happen...I think those last 5 minutes of the game will be the force that drives this Offense for the rest of the season. I don't know everything, but if you look back at my old Blog, by the end of week 2 last year, I was calling for the Patriots to finish 11-5 and make it into the Playoffs. Well, they went 11-5, but due to Favre trying to play Hero, they missed the Playoffs(yes, I blame Favre, for the Patriots finishing 11-5 and not making the Playoffs, the first time that has happened in years).

Let's see how the season goes. And I won't give a prediction as to end of the season wins/losses, yet. Maybe after the upcoming game against the Jets. I want to see more.

So...the game. It was great! From Tailgating with a bunch of hard and fast Patriots fans, to entering Gillette Stadium, and all of the energy that was running through that place...it was incredible. The "Fly-Over" by the Fighter Jets at the end of the Star Spangled Banner was just AWESOME! The game was made great by the last 5 minutes. It's just an awesome experience.

I've been trying to attend 1 Patriots game/season. But as of right now, I'm looking at 3 games this season! The energy and excitement that is felt by being at the game is just wild!

We shall see.

Time for sleep. More soon...
